Robinsons is the Framingham, Hudson and Metrowest area’s best Chainsaw tune-up and service shop, with the area’s only Certified Master Technician and two Stihl MasterWrench Gold Level Technicians.
Please note we work on Stihl, Redmax, Husqvarna, Jonsered and Shindaiwa brand chainsaws only.
We do not work on Poulan, Homelite, Craftsman, McCullough, Makita, Ryobi or Troybilt chainsaws.
We tune-up, service and repair chain saws. Our full time mechanics have made caring for your equipment their life long career. Working on your chainsaw is their livelihood, not a part time job or something to do when they’re bored. In fact, we have over 140 years of combined experience.
A typical chainsaw tune-up includes:
Tune up the engine
Change spark plug
Check and/or replace air filter
Check and/or replace fuel filter
Test and service the recoil starter
Sharpen chain (if needed, charged seperately)
Dress the bar (if needed, charged seperately)
Run, test and adjust
The cost of a chainsaw service is $64.95 plus the parts
THE AVERAGE CHAINSAW SERVICE IS $100 TO $125
We look at your machine as if it were our own. If we can find ways to help save you money, we will suggest them to you. If we do not feel it is worth repairing, we will tell you so.
To provide faster turnaround time, we ask you to approve service and repair charges up to $150, excluding delivery and pickup. If the repair or service will exceed $150, we will provide an estimate. This allows us to offer faster, more efficient service and allows the technicians to take care of minor issues they might find as they work on your saw.
